Choose an Irish Cycling Jersey and Get Lucky!
An Irish Jersey is for two groups of cyclists. Those who are Irish and those who wish they were. Actually three groups- we’ll have to add those who go to Notre Dame. I don‘t know who let that last group crash the party, but all three hope to pedal with the ‘luck of the Irish’.
That was just about as lame of an introduction as I’ve seen in a long time. I doubt you’re even reading anymore. Only a mother would forge through that paragraph. Hi Mom! Shoot me, kick me, treat me with disrespect.
The Irish Cycling Jersey from South Bend Indiana
So what’s there to say about Irish cycling jerseys. They seem to center around a green theme. That is, all except the Fight’n Irish jersey. Let’s start with them. You can get a nice Notre Dame jersey from
Nashbar
. Pictured on the right, this lovely specimen leaves me speechless. It needs no description and you won‘t get one here.
And if you just don't have enough Notre Dame trinkets, hats, clothing, or items designed to pull the dust out of the air you can check out the selection at FansEdge.com . You'll have to navigate the drop down menu of 'NCAA: College', but I've got faith in you.
The Ever Popular ‘Performance Bike’ Irish Cycling Jersey
Performance Bike features a jersey that thinks outside the box. Are you ready for this? They’ve added orange sleeves! That’s right, those wild and crazy guys really did it. Now, is anyone really buying any of them? Maybe that’s why they were on sale the last time I checked. Performance Bicycle has got a lot of stuff. They just aren't too good at giving me the coding that will take you right to the Irish Cycling jersey page. Just poke around through their menu and you'll find it. If a Canucklehead from Vancouver can do it, you can too.
Drum roll for the Official Irish Jersey
I don’t know who determines these things but this last Irish jersey is dubbed the ‘official Irish cycling jersey’. The jersey is pretty self-explanatory. You could wear it with your regular Japanese-made black shorts, or you could go all out and get the matching Irish 'official' shorts. If you want to see all things Irish in the cycling world you'd do well to check out this site.
I’ve rarely been subjected to, never mind written, a page as painfully dry as this one. No wonder those Irish Lads drink so much.
